Tylor and Claudia purchased Beckett Tax in the fall of 2018 from their relative Duane Beckett. Duane started the business in 2002. Before purchasing the business, Tylor enjoyed several years working with Duane. Claudia, the Office Manager, has worked for Beckett tax since taking ownership. You will find her primarily at the front desk fielding phone calls and performing other managerial duties. Tylor graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA), and he obtained his CPA license. Tylor enjoys getting to know his clients and building a long-term relationship. Although he is not taking new clients, he assures you the team at Beckett Tax will work hard for you and will provide you a professional service. When Tylor and Claudia are not in the office, they enjoy spending time with their son, Maverick, and their daughter, Mabel, and working on their farm.

Tax Preparer

Bethany has been preparing taxes at Beckett Tax since 2005, first as a part-time preparer, then transitioned over to full-time preparer about 8 years ago. She is currently working to become an Enrolled Agent (EA) to provide you with an even larger range of services. Bethany mostly prepares personal returns for both US residents and Nonresidents and Schedule C business returns but hopes to expand that offering with this designation. Bethany also works with many realtors to prepare their returns, being a real estate agent herself; she understands the ins and outs of deductions and maximizing your return as a real estate professional. Bethany truly cares about each and every one of her client's unique situations and will go above and beyond to help navigate the tax world. She looks forward to working with you and hopes that with her help tax time can be a little less stressful!

Tax Preparer

Kassel graduated from Edgewood College with her Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA). With a few years of tax preparation experience, Kassel is excited to work with both new and returning clients. Prior to Beckett, she worked at another tax firm and worked as an accountant at a construction company. Outside of the busy tax season, Kassel enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, friends and volunteering with OccuPaws Guide Dog Association to train guide dogs for the blind.

Tax Preparer

Karina is a bilingual tax preparer excited to assist others with their tax returns and helping make the tax system a little less confusing. Previously, she prepared returns with the VITA program in Madison, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., and worked as a Financial Educator with UW-Madison, Extension. Her passion lies in assisting startups and small businesses create a strong financial foundation through accurate tax preparation and bookkeeping. When not in the office, Karina enjoys taking Accounting and Tax-related classes, reading, and being a silly aunt to her nieces and nephew.

Tonya has been preparing taxes at Beckett Tax since 2002. She loves helping her clients in making the tax return process easy and efficient. Tonya is an Accounting Professional and received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Lakeland College in 2005.

Tax Preparer

Zania is excited to join Beckett Tax for the 2023 tax season. She came from a larger firm where she gained experience in partnerships, s-corporations, and individual taxes. This will be her 8th tax season preparing taxes and is ready to grow her client base at Beckett Tax this year. Outside of tax season, Zania likes to spend her time with her husband, two cats, and bunny.

Tax Preparer

This is Weston's fifth year as a tax preparer in the Beckett Tax family. He and his wife reside in Virginia with their two kids. They eagerly await their 3rd child, due around the middle of January. He is excited to work remotely this year with his returning clients and is always willing to serve new clients. When he is not preparing taxes, Weston owns his own remodeling company and enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. They sure grow up fast!

Office Administrator

Tena joined our team in June of 2022 as the office administrator at Beckett Tax. She is most likely the one you will speak to when calling, and one of the first faces you see when you come to our office. Her goal is to help our clients navigate their tax questions and to provide the best customer service possible during what can be a stressful time. She looks forward to meeting you and getting to know you.

When Tena is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Aubree. They enjoy spending time with other family and being outside.

Rachel joined the Beckett Tax team in December 2023 and is the newest member of the firm. As part of our administrative staff, she is likely the one you will speak to when you call or see if you stop by the office. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you.
